Let curiosity be your guide as we take an adventure around the world! Learn about new cultures, try new foods, and learn a song in another language all while still getting to do your favorite camp activities like archery, canoeing, and outdoor cooking.
What to Bring Daily
Remember to mark your name on ALL items brought to camp! After camp is over the lost and found will be located at the Girl Scout service center.
- Sunscreen
- Bug spray
- Hat/bandana
- Hair tie (if needed)
- Water bottle
- Sit-upon
- Swim suit and towel
- Separate bag for wet clothing
- Water shoes - required to get into water (no crocs)
- Socks are required with shoes
- Medications (if needed, will be turned in to the camp first aider)
- Dunk bag with utensils
- SWAPS
- Dakota Dough/money for camp retail store
What to Bring for Overnight
- Sleeping bag
- Toiletries in a bag - toothbrush, toothpaste, sanitary supplies, etc
- Tent
- Warm pajamas - can get chilly at night
- Change of clothes for last day
- Flashlight
What NOT to Bring
- Personal electronics, cell phones, mp3 players, electronic games, etc.
What to Wear
- Dress appropriate for the weather (multiple layers)
- Comfortable (close toed) walking shoes and socks.
What NOT to Wear
- No sleeveless shirts or tank tops
- No open-toed or open-heeled shoes (sandlas, flip-flops, clogs, or crocs)
