Seeking Annual Meeting Delegates

The Annual Meeting offers leadership opportunities to members 14 years and older who may be elected to serve as Council Delegates and participate in the council democratic process.
As a delegate, you are entitled to elect representatives for the Council’s Board of Directors, Board Development Committee and National Council Delegates.
- Delegates are Girl Scout Members age 14 and older who reside within the council jurisdiction and are voted by their service unit to represent the service unit with one voice. Delegates shall serve a term of one (1) year.
- Service units should add Delegate Information (North Region / South Region) to Service Unit Meeting agendas and share the Council Delegate Job Description and Delegate Process FAQ with their members. Service units should then seek candidates for the Delegate positions.
- In December, January and February Delegates should be elected by their service units and register online (information to be distributed in December).
Talk to your service unit get started. Note all members are welcome to attend the Annual Meeting even if you are not chosen as a delegate.
