Raspberry Rally Cookies should NOT be purchased for resale.
Council does NOT support troops or parents to purchase the new Raspberry Rally cookies for resale. Purchasing the cookies to sell at a booth contradicts each of these four points:
- The goal of the Raspberry Rally online sales (trial a new cookie without removing an existing cookie, not managing additional inventory, giving the girls additional marketing opportunities, etc.).
- Girl Scout members agree to follow the rules (which prohibit reselling).
- Girl Scouts are meant to be honest and fair. Breaking rules and taking a large amount of cookies from an already very-limited supply is neither honest nor fair.
- Cookie prices are non-negotiable. They are to be sold for either $5 or $6 per package depending on the variety. Changing prices or adding fees is also against the rules that Girl Scout members agree to follow.
