Giddy Up Girl Scouts! At this event you’ll take a tour of the stables, learn about different horse breeds, horse health and grooming, and then saddle up and learn to ride from a certified instructor. We’ll have snacks and games, too!
Grade Levels: Dakota Horizons Brownies / Juniors / Cadettes / Seniors / Ambassadors. Register your Girl Scout based on their 2021-2022 school year grade level.
Important: A waiver will be provided and must be signed prior to the event. One volunteer is needed at this event, contact Stacie Horst at shorst@gsdakotahorizons.org if you are willing to assist. Juniors will earn the Horseback Riding badge and can purchase at time of registration for an additional $3.75. No tag-a-longs.
