Sewing is a life skill that can be expanded into a career if you love to do it! At this event, you’ll learn basic sewing by hand skills like the right way to sew on a button and how to do minor repairs. You’ll then expand your knowledge by learning how to use a sewing machine to make your own shoulder tote bag using straight and zig zag stitching. 

Grade Levels: All Girl Scout Juniors / Cadettes / Seniors / Ambassadors

Important: The retail strore will be open 30 min AFTER the program. No tag-a-longs.

Girl Price: $22.00 Includes: Activities, snack, and patch

Adult Price: $0

Location: Girl Scout Service Center - Sioux Falls, SD

Cancellation: Submit written cancellation requests to help@gsdakotahorizons.org. Girl cancellations received by 3/23/2023 are eligible for a refund less a $5 administrative fee per cancelled participant.
