Scholarships & Aid | Girl Scouts Dakota Horizons

Girl Scouts Dakota Horizons welcomes youth and volunteer members in any financial situation.

Girl Scouts Dakota Horizons is committed to helping all girls and volunteers participate in Girl Scouting. We offer financial assistance through scholarships to new and existing members. These scholarships can help cover the cost of membership, uniforms, and Girl Scout events.

Scholarship allocations are subject to availability within the council’s current operating budget. The eligibility and important information included on each application vary. Please review carefully.

EF Tours' Global Citizen Scholarship Application

While GSDH does not currently offer scholarships for council-sponsored travel opportunities, our partner EF Tours does have a scholarship available.

Every year, the Global Citizen Scholarship awards $100,000 to student travelers across the country and is both needs- and merit-based—so any student is encouraged to apply. Your child will fill out a quick online application and create a short video about how traveling will change the way they think or feel about the world, or act within it.
