Girl Scout Troop Makes Donation to Feeding Brookings
A Girl Scout troop from Brookings, SD gave back to their community by utilizing funds from their Girl Scout Cookie sales. Troop 40950 purchased potatoes for the Feeding Brookings’ Easter distributions. The girls also purchased and filled Easter eggs with candy as a special treat for the approximately 280 children in households served by Feeding Brookings. The troop assisted with the distribution on April 6th at Ascension Lutheran Church. The Girl Scouts would like to express their gratitude to all of their Cookie Program customers who made this donation possible!
