Girl Scout Troop 40721, of Hartford, SD, used some of their cookie program proceeds to go shopping for the Hartford Food Pantry. The group bought more than 300 items to help fill the shelves at the food pantry. With this experience, they learned how to look at prices and get the best deal while staying within their set budget.
"They had a blast and were proud to be helping those that were less fortunate and needed help," said Troop Co-Leader Karen Burgers.
