2023 National Convention

Save the Date: July 18-22 in Orlando, FL!


Planning is underway for the 2023 Girl Scout Convention, taking place from July 18–22, 2023 in Orlando, Florida, at Walt Disney World Resort, with early bird registration slated to open this summer. Convention consists of our 56th National Council Session (NCS), Tuesday, July 18, through Thursday, 20, 2023, followed by 2023 Phenom by Girl Scouts, starting once NCS concludes on July 20 and ending Saturday, July 22, 2023.

Scotland & Ireland - Summer 2024

Virtual Information Session: May 10 (register by May 3).

These lands were once home to ancient Celtic and Gaelic tribes; today their histories blend comfortably into the modern day. Bring your group into the Middle Ages with a trip to Edinburgh Castle and under the towering spire of St. Patrick’s Cathedral in Dublin. In Belfast, old conflicts have given way to an influx of restored 19th-century architecture and a thriving arts scene.  Available to girls ages 14 and up.

Washington DC & New York City - Summer 2024

Virtual Information Session: May 24 (register by May 19).

Feel the pulse of the American spirit during this journey to two of the nation’s most influential cities. From the White House and the U.S. Capitol to Times Square and the Statue of Liberty, discover how these two great cities have helped shape our past, present and future. Available to girls ages 14 and up.

Girl Scout Destinations through GSUSA

Check out Girl Scout Destinations, the ultimate adventure program for girls ages 11 and older. With a ton of different trips to apply for every year—from surfing camp on the east coast and breathtaking hikes out west, to the crazy-cool wonder of new cultures abroad—there’s something amazing for everyone to experience.

You can apply for up to four Destinations trips! Use this Application Worksheet to prepare for your online Destinations Application. The online application cannot be stopped and returned to once started. A seperate application with a unique essay for each trip needs to be submitted. 

Our council offers scholarships for up to 20% of the Destinations trip cost for as long as funds are available. Applications for scholarship must be submitted at the same time as the trip application. Destinations scholarship requests are reviewed as they are submitted and will be rewarded as funds are available.

Let Us Know You're On The Go!

Leaders, as soon as you decide to start planning a trip, read  Volunteer Essentials for general guidelines and the  Safety Activity Checkpoints to learn more about activities girls may want to participate in on their trip. 

Once your plans are set;  Let Us Know You’re On the GO!!! Complete the Travel Application and submit it at least two weeks prior to your trip. 

Don’t forget to plan in advance if you’re doing a high-risk or high-Adventure activity, and find out what you’ll need to make it an amazing and safe experience!!  For trips longer than 2 nights, additional insurance is required and needs to be purchased through the council. Please contact our Girl Experience Manager for more information.
