Giddy Up Girl Scouts! Head on over to Reclamation Ranch to gain some horse sense, tour the stables, and then saddle up and learn to ride from a certified instructor.
Important: Riding helmets must be worn: Girls can bring their own or use the ones provided. Long pants, mask and closed-toed shoes are required. A waiver must be signed prior to the event. Participants must be comfortable around a variety of animals including cats, dogs, and horses on the ranch. Two volunteers are needed to assist with this event. Contact Kate at jstettnichs@gsdakotahorizons.org to discuss. Juniors will earn the Horseback Riding badge. Badge can be added on at time of registration for $3.20. No tag-a-longs.
