Board of Directors Gathers for In-Person Retreat in Sioux Falls
Earlier this month, Girl Scouts Dakota Horizons Board of Directors gathered in Sioux Falls for a three-day retreat focused on shaping the future of our council and preparing for the year ahead.
Board members traveled from across our council’s region to come together in person. Over the course of the retreat, they engaged in strategic discussions to strengthen Girl Scouting in our communities and ensure girls continue to have opportunities to lead, learn, and grow.
In addition to their planning sessions, board members also had the chance to:
- Attend our Cookies, Corks & Brews event in Sioux Falls and experience the excitement firsthand
- Connect with Girl Scout team members during a coffee and donut meet-and-greet
- Visit with Sioux Falls Mayor Paul TenHaken, who shared his insights on leadership and community
