Girl Scout Influencer Charlotte shares her firsthand experience from Cookie University in Grand Forks.
"I really enjoyed attending Cookie University and especially as a Girl Scout Influencer! I felt really lucky to be able to serve in this role! It pushed me to have conversations with all of the Girl Scouts there, not just the ones who I already knew. I definitely made new friends!
The Grand Forks Cookie University was put on by the UND Kappa Delta sorority. They made it so fun! They made sure all of the Girl Scouts felt included, and they were as excited as we were to be there.
At the event, I was able to earn my 'Junior Cookie Coordinator' badge. All levels of Girl Scouts who attended Cookie University were able to earn a badge. The KDs made earning the badge requirements fun! We talked about how we are launching our very own business, business ethics, setting goals, customer service, and money management. There were different tracks you could follow, whether you were new to cookies, a cookie pro, or even learning for the adults!
Some of my favorite parts were the crunchy cookie challenge, trying the new Exploremores cookies, and of course, being a Girl Scout Influencer!"
