Girl Scouts Dakota Horizons congratulates Haley Lorensberg of Rosyln, SD for earning the Girl Scout Gold Award, the highest award to be achieved in Girl Scouts.
Haley tapped into her creative side for her Church Mural and Fellowship Hall Painting Project. She worked to create a welcoming and warm space in her church’s fellowship hall. After gathering donations and supplies, Haley was able to give the fellowship hall a fresh and updated coat of paint. She also painted the famous Last Supper image on a canvas that was hung in the gathering hall.
Her accomplishments reflect leadership, citizenship, and foundational skills built through Girl Scouts. Haley will receive her award at the council’s Honoring Excellence recognition event to be held on June 10, 2023.
