Girl Scout Speaks at Women’s Fund Celebration

Girl Scouts Dakota Horizons was honored to take part in the Grand Forks Women's Fund’s annual Summer Solstice Celebration—a vibrant evening dedicated to supporting and uplifting women and girls across the Greater Grand Forks region.
As a recipient of a Women’s Fund grant, our organization was invited to share how their support is making a difference locally. Girl Scout Kiera took the stage and delivered a heartfelt speech about the impact of Girl Scout programming in Grand Forks. She highlighted initiatives focused on STEM and entrepreneurship—such as the Cookie Program—and spoke about how the skills she and her fellow Girl Scouts are developing will help them become confident, capable, and life-ready.
We are so grateful to the Grand Forks Women’s Fund for their continued investment in the next generation of leaders. Together, we’re building a stronger, more empowered future for girls in our community.
