Making History More Accessible

As our nation celebrates America 250, Girl Scouts are helping ensure everyone can experience and connect with our shared history.

For her Girl Scout Gold Award project, Riley created a Braille guide for Rapid City's City of Presidents, making the unique presidential walking tour more accessible for visitors who are blind or have low vision.

Her project reflects the heart of the Girl Scout Gold Award by identifying a community need and creating a lasting solution that will benefit others for years to come. Thanks to Riley's leadership and dedication, more people can explore the City of Presidents and engage with the stories of our nation's leaders.

Congratulations, Riley, on this incredible achievement and for making history more accessible for everyone!
