Around 50 Girl Scouts got hands-on with STEM at our 2nd annual Savannah Cup Derby. The event took place in Fargo on June 3, 2023. The girls were challenged to build their own derby cars prior to the event and then race them! The program not only encourages good sportsmanship, but also gets girls engaged in STEM by focusing on aerodynamics, gravity, and friction.
Thanks to our Presenting Partner, Matt's Automotive Service Center, for hosting the event and supplying fun, engaging activities for Girl Scouts to do all day long.
