Heroes on the Horizons
Girl Scouts have a long tradition of making the world a better place and knowing the importance of community service and the value of giving back! During the Cookie Program, this can be achieved through our Heroes on the Horizon donation program.
Heroes on the Horizon encourages girls to ask customers/businesses to donate as little as $5 so cookies can find their way to military organizations, first responders, and other local heroes throughout GSDH.
What a sweet deal! Encourage customers to buy one box of cookies for themselves and another to give - through the Heroes on the Horizon program. Amp up your Heroes on the Horizon contributions by using this box wrap. Printed copies will also be available in our Council Cookie Cupboards.
GSDH facilitates the delivery of cookies purchased through the Heroes on the Horizon program with organizations such as VA Hospitals, military outreach clinics, Feeding America/Backpack Program, and several first responders throughout the council.
All Heroes on the Horizon donations count towards girl rewards and troop proceeds.
Go Bright Ahead!
If you need any help or clarification, your Troop Co-Leader or Cookie Coordinator are your go-to people! Of course, Member Services is always here to help as well. They can be reached at 1-800-666-2141 or at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Every year we call to action Girl Scouts everywhere to commit to seven goals and accompanying activities–whether girls have time for them this week or want to take them on in the months to come. After all, being a Girl Scout isn't just for special occasions! This year the dates for Girl Scout Week are March 12-18.
Celebrate Girl Scout Week by doing something to fulfill each part of the Girl Scout Promise and take time to Discover, Connect, and Take Action.
Shop in-store or at Juliette's Boutique during Girl Scout Week to receive 15% off the entire store, including clearance items!
