Get ready for an un-bear-lievably great Fall Product Program!
Mark your calendars, the Fall Product Program is right around the corner! Starting on September 26, Girl Scouts will be able to earn funds that support their year of adventure by selling nuts, chocolates, magazines, and more! They will be guided by our mascot, the grizzly bear, who will make sure there's plenty of fun along the way.
We're excited to highlight a few new things this year:
- Increased Proceeds! Troop proceeds increased 50% for nuts and chocolates, going from $0.75 per nut/chocolate to $1.13 per nut/chocolate!
- New Items!
- Nuts & Chocolates: There are 16 varieties of nuts and chocolates available, including four new offerings. Customers can enjoy our new Sweet & Smoky Almonds, Black Pepper and Sea Salt Cashew Halves, Peanut Butter Dark Chocolate Delight, and Taco Peanuts.
- BarkBox: There are now 5 versions to pick from. Boxes come with one or two custom Pose & Play dog toys as well as one canister of Berry Trios BARK + Girl Scouts dog treats.

Un-bear-lievably Brave Patch Program
Get ready to explore the wild world of one of nature’s most powerful creatures and this year's fall product program mascot, the grizzly bear! In this Un-BEAR-lievably Brave patch program, you’ll discover what makes grizzlies so unique, learn how they survive in the wild, and understand why they’re important to our ecosystems. Are you ready to be un-bear-lievably brave?
Bonus—With the purchase of this patch program, you'll receive exclusive access to a live virtual event. Learn more about the live event with Grizzly Bear Expert Rob Green on our website.
Dakota Dough Expiring Soon
Before we start a new Girl Scout year, make sure you take a few minutes to check the expiration dates on your Dakota Dough. The TEAL and STAR GREEN Dakota Dough will be expiring on September 30.
How to Use Dakota Dough
- Renew your membership
- Shop the retail store
- Attend GSDH events
Saving for a big trip?
Girl Scouts Dakota Horizons does make a few exceptions in which expired Dakota Dough can be extended for program opportunities, including GSUSA Destinations, National Council Sessions, council-sponsored travel opportunities, and camps.
A request to extend Dakota Dough's expiration date must be made prior to the printed expiration date via the Dakota Dough Expiration Date Extension Form. Approval of the form from the council's Leadership Team is needed to grant a Dakota Dough extension.

Bring your curiosity and creativity to the ultimate celebration of STEM! At the BIG (Believe in Girls) Event, girls will explore hands-on activities, exciting experiments, and interactive exhibits led by real scientists, engineers, and tech professionals. It’s a day of discovery, imagination, and inspiration for the whole family!

Calling all Juniors through Ambassadors! Want to boost your public speaking skills, practice business etiquette, and become the face and voice of Girl Scouts Dakota Horizons? The Girl Media Team is your chance to do all that—and have fun in front of the camera too!
