2025 Cookie Program - Embrace Possibilities
Thank you, volunteers, for all you are doing to prepare your girls for a great season!
Below are a few reminders:
- Parent Digital Cookie emails were sent on January 22.
- Initial Order Rewards will be shipped to the Service Unit Cookie Manager.
- Be sure to go into eBudde and “look” around. There are many resources for the system, but don’t be afraid to ask questions.
- Please check your banking information for the troop in the settings tab in eBudde. If your bank info is not in eBudde, please complete a Bank Account Confirmation/ACH Form by January 31.
- If you are missing a girl in eBudde, make sure she is registered in your troop by checking your roster in MyGS. Contact Member Services to have the girl added in eBudde.

Adult Achievement Award Nominations due February 1
Do you know a volunteer who went above and beyond during the 2024 year? Honor them with a nomination for an Adult Achievement Award!
From the Rising Star Award to the GSUSA Honor Pin, there are a variety of awards to recognize the impact Girl Scout volunteers are making in local communities and council wide.
Don’t delay! The nomination deadline is February 1, 2025, for awards to be presented at Honoring Excellence being held on June 8, 2025 in Moorhead, MN. View Adult Achievement Awards and nomination forms on our website.
Girl Leadership & Higher Awards Paperwork due February 1
The deadline for submissions of Girl Scout Highest Awards and Girl Leadership Awards is February 1st for awards to be presented at Honoring Excellence on June 8, 2025.
GSDH Graduating Girl Scout Academic Scholarship due February 1
Applications are due to council on February 1st.

Delegates Needed for Annual Meeting
The GSDH Annual Meeting is scheduled for April 15, 2025. Before our meeting can take place, Service Units must elect delegates to represent them during the meeting and to vote on important council topics, like our Board of Directors and revisions to our bylaws.
Once elected, delegates should register for the meeting. If registered before February 14th, delegates are in the running to win an early registration prize – a JBL Flip 5 speaker (4 winners) or a Lululemon Everywhere Belt Bag (8 winners.) Register here.
Wilderness First Aid Interest Form
We are gathering interest to help us determine the best way to provide the Red Cross Wilderness First Aid certification course to volunteers and older girls. If you want to become certified as a Wilderness First Aider, please complete the interest form by February 14.
Empower Her for Girls and Volunteers
This totally tubular event for older girls and adult volunteers is an opportunity to connect, be inspired by others, and discover the power of Girl Scouts - 80's style! Sessions will include opportunities to enhance leadership skills, connect with your peers, and fuel your passion for Girl Scouts. And of course, we will have fun prizes, delicious food, and lots of fun throughout the day!

GSDH is excited to introduce two new team members.
Carmella Varriano is our new Director of Membership. She is based in the Fargo Service Center. Carmella will be focused on recruitment, outreach, retention, and membership growth. If you need to reach out, she can be contacted at cvarriano@gsdakotahorizons.org.
Ritchell Aboah is our new Director of Community and Member Engagement. She is also based in the Fargo Service Center. Ritchell will be supporting our Member Engagement Managers in North Dakota to deliver captivating programs for girls and volunteers.
