Exploring the Upside Down: A Girl Scout Volunteer Event
Strange things are happening… and it’s all about celebrating our amazing volunteers! Step into Exploring the Upside Down, a fun and interactive event where you will connect with fellow Girl Scout volunteers through hands-on activities, laughter, and conversation. Come ready to have fun, make connections, and leave inspired! Register today!
- Fargo – Saturday, August 16; 1-4 PM (Registration deadline August 3)
- Rapid City – Saturday, September 26; 1-4 PM (Registration deadline September 14)
The Volunteer Toolkit (VTK) Has Rolled Over for the New Girl Scout Year!
The VTK officially rolled over on July 13 and is ready for you to start planning an amazing 2026-27 Girl Scout year!
Explore the Troop Year Plans available for every grade level, including multi-level troops! Each plan lays out a full year of activities, so you can hit the ground running. Just plug your chosen plan into the VTK, add your meeting dates, and you're ready to lead your troop on new adventures!
Free Badge Booklets! All Badge Booklets are available for free download in the Volunteer Toolkit. Just add the badge meeting to your year plan and then find the Badge Booklet in the Meeting Plan.

Summer is almost half over, and we are getting set for the coming years' product programs. We’re excited to introduce the official theme and mascots for the upcoming Product Program seasons!
Introducing the Ready to Explore theme and two brand-new mascots who are ready to hop, bounce, and bound right into the season with you!
Fall Product Program
- Dates: September 25 – October 26
- Say G’day mate and meet your guide from down under: the Kangaroo!
Girl Scout Cookie Program
- Dates: February 8 – March 22
- Don't let the floppy ears fool you, Sally, the Lop-Eared Rabbit, is all business when it comes to Cookie Season.
S'more Fun Outdoor Skills Patch Program for Volunteers
Explore the outdoors with your Girl Scouts and earn the S’more Fun Outdoor Skills Patch! This program is designed for volunteers of all experience levels to guide you through the Girl Scout Outdoor Progression, helping you and your girls build confidence, learn essential outdoor skills, and develop a love for nature.
Complete the steps with your girls to earn the main patch, then continue the adventure by adding logs to your fire for even more outdoor fun!
