Volunteer Toolkit Badge Giveaway
Fall is the perfect time to use the Volunteer Toolkit to access free badge requirements, ready-to-go meeting plans, meeting aids, templates, and so much more! To get started, login to MyGS, choose Volunteer Toolkit from the menu and add a year plan for your troop or Individually Registered Girl.

1912 Club Patch Program

Girl Scout Impact Fund
The Girl Scout Impact Fund, sponsored by Girl Scouts Dakota Horizons (GSDH), is a funding opportunity designed to support innovative community-based projects and initiatives by service units that create positive change in local communities. This fund aims to empower service units and their members by providing financial support to foster community development. This fund is aimed to support service unit events and must be requested by an elected service unit volunteer. Girl Award Paperwork Due February 1st
Girl leadership award paperwork is due February 1 for awards presented in spring 2025. Visit the website for details and requirements.
Gold, Silver and Bronze Award final reports are also due February 1 for recognition at Honoring Excellence on June 8, 2025.
Adult Achievement Award Nominations due February 1
Do you know a volunteer who went above and beyond during the 2024 year? Honor them with a nomination for an Adult Achievement Award!
From the Rising Star Award to the GSUSA Honor Pin, there are a variety of awards to recognize the impact Girl Scout volunteers are making in local communities and council-wide.

Event Scholarship Application Updates
We're excited to share our updated scholarship application. This form can facilitate scholarship requests for council events, camps, or travel opportunities. We are now allowing troop co-leaders to submit scholarships for troop members. This is a new feature, in the past, only a parent/guardian could apply. We ask that you submit the scholarship application at least one week prior to the program registration deadline.
Troop Finances & 2024-2025 Check Register
Visit the Troop Finances section of our website to review resources and guidelines, and download the 2024-2025 Check Register (excel workbook) to track troop funds all year long. This makes submitting the Annual Finance Report in June easy!
