The
Red Cross Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED blended learning
course will prepare you to recognize and care for a variety of first
aid, breathing, and cardiac emergencies involving adults, children,
and infants. The online portion features award-winning simulation
learning - an interactive experience where you will respond to
real-world emergencies in a virtual setting and practice the skills
that will prepare you for the instructor-led classroom skill
session.
This course requires completion of the online portion
prior to the instructor-led classroom skill session.
Grade Levels: 7th-8th grade Cadettes / Seniors /
Ambassadors / Volunteers
Important:
The online course information will be provided to you at least
2 weeks prior to the course date. Both the online and in person
session must be successfully completed to receive certification.
Courses are taught by Girl Scout volunteers who are trained American
Red Cross Instructors.
If minimum of 6 participants is not met,
course will be canceled.
