Cats, Cactus, and Coffee Create the Perfect Girl Scout Experience
Girl Scout Influencer Sophia recently attended our Cats. Cactus. Coffee. event at the Dakota Cat Café in Lincoln, ND, and had an unforgettable experience filled with furry friends, creativity, and fun!
“At the Dakota Cat Café in Lincoln, ND, we, of course, got to play with some cats, which were really sweet,” Sophia shared.
The event gave girls the opportunity to relax in the café’s cat lounge while learning more about the mission behind the space.
“The Dakota Cat Café cat lounge runs entirely on donations, and it gives local cats a second chance at having a home, so all of their cats are adoptable!” Sophia said.
“We then got coffee from the café and went outside to paint pots. Once we painted our pots, we got to pick out a cactus to put in them and take home,” she continued.
For Sophia, the event was the perfect mix of creativity, community, and fun.
“It was overall an amazing event. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who likes cats, plants, and coffee!”
