Exploring the World
"We returned this week from our London & Paris trip. For most of these girls, we’ve talked about this trip since they were in 2nd grade. Many cookie sales later, and a few other fundraisers, the trip was a reality. In our reflections, they all had a favorite part, but were quick to say they loved it all.
Thanks for your part in making their dream become a reality! Our focus was to instill in them that they could travel internationally and the importance of learning about our world beyond our own neighborhoods. As newly seasoned subway (and airplane, shuttle, train, bus, and taxi) travelers, map readers, and researchers, they walked away with a global awareness. And, celebrated this with a pinning ceremony at the Pax Lodge."
