Girl Scouts Dakota Horizons congratulates Brianne Ellison of Thief River Falls, MN for earning the Girl Scout Gold Award, the highest award to be achieved in Girl Scouts.
Brianne earner her Gold Award with her Girl Scout History Display Project. For this project, Brianne focused on raising awareness for Girl Scouts. She noticed a decline in participation in her community, so she set out to create awareness of the organization. To do this, Brianne created a Girl Scouts display at her local historical society. It includes memorabilia, old newspaper articles, and other Girl Scout information.
Brianne will receive her award at the council’s Honoring Excellence recognition event to be held on June 9, 2024.
