Girl Scouts Deliver Cookies to Local Heroes
Girl Scouts have a long tradition of making the world a better place and knowing the importance of community service and the value of giving back! During the Cookie Program, this is achieved through our Heroes on the Horizon donation program.
Heroes on the Horizon encourages girls to ask customers/businesses to donate as little as $5, so cookies can find their way to military organizations, first responders, and other local heroes throughout GSDH.
This year, more than 14,000 packages of Girl Scout Cookies were donated to local first responders through our Heroes on the Horizon program.

Troop 41451 delivered their Heroes on the Horizon cookies to the Sioux Falls Police Department.
Cookie Bundle
Troop 72216, of Box Elder, SD, sent a bundle of cookies overseas to members of the US Army!
