Girl Scouts from Troop 33025, from Fergus Falls, MN, got an inside look into how the government works. The group of juniors took the fall to earn two important badges: Democracy for Juniors and Inside Government. These badges taught the girls how local government works and how they can be active citizens within their community.
To help with their learning, the Girl Scouts visited Fergus Falls City Hall, Otter Tail County Courthouse, and the County Sheriff's Office. The group learned that many positions held in city and county government are elected positions.
