Troop 50634 Heads West to the Black Hills

Our troop from Brookings, SD took a long weekend trip to Western South Dakota, where we got to hike around the Badlands, Needles Highway, and Custer State Park. We saw the lighting ceremony at Mount Rushmore and Troop Co-Leader Stacie Horst helped with the flag ceremony!
We also went to the Hot Springs to swim and visit the Mammoth Site. The girls planned where they wanted to visit and helped plan the menu. They worked hard during cookie season to earn money to pay for the trip.
