In honor of World Kindness Day on November 11, we encourage our Girl Scouts to celebrate kindness! We’ve all heard it before: the world needs more kindness. But the truth is, being kind takes desire, awareness, and initiative. So, let’s get intentional about our acts of kindness with the Create Kindness Patch.
World Kindness Day is a holiday that promotes the importance of being kind to each other, to yourself, and to the world. The purpose of this day is to help everyone understand that kindness is what binds us all together and to work on intentional acts of kindness. This understanding has the power to bridge the gap between nations.
Patches will be mailed in December/January.

With the Girl Scout Cookie Program, thousands of GSDH Girl Scouts get to run their own businesses and let their entrepreneurial spirit shine! But the Girl Scout Cookie Program wouldn’t be possible without all the hardworking men and women at Little Brownie Baker, our cookie supplier. In fact, they are already hard at work preparing for the upcoming cookie season and we want to show them our appreciation.
We are gathering 350 thank you cards– one for each bakery team member. We would love it if your troop could help us out! Read more about where to mail the letters and what could be included, here.
