NorthWestern Energy Volunteers Help Prepare TDAF for Summer Camp Season
Last month, Girl Scouts Dakota Horizons partnered with local volunteers from NorthWestern Energy for a special clean-up project at TDAF Lodge near Aberdeen, SD. Together, nearly 15 volunteers helped clean and prepare the camp property ahead of another exciting summer camp season.
The project was part of NorthWestern Energy’s annual Arbor Day initiative, which supports community projects through volunteer service and donations tied to employee participation.
The partnership also came with a sweet surprise. As a thank you to their volunteer team, NorthWestern Energy purchased Girl Scout Cookies from local Girl Scout Rowan, giving her cookie sale a big boost right at the finish line!
We’re grateful for the volunteers and community partners who help keep our camp properties ready for girls to explore, discover, and make memories all summer long.
