Several team members from Girl Scouts Dakota Horizons attended the Sioux Falls Young Professionals Network’s Crossroads Summit 2025. The annual summit brought together hundreds of emerging and established leaders from across the region for a day of learning, inspiration, and meaningful networking.
One highlight of the day was the breakout session led by our Chief Development Officer, Jennifer Hoesing, titled “Question Everything.” Known for her intentional and thought-provoking approach, Jenn encouraged participants to challenge assumptions, spark dialogue, and embrace curiosity as a tool for growth and innovation. Her session reflected the importance of asking the right questions to uncover new possibilities and foster stronger connections.
The summit also featured engaging keynote speakers, including Dzenan Berberovic, Chief Philanthropy Officer at Avera, and Jordan Harbinger, a leading voice in communication and networking. Attendees had the opportunity to learn from a variety of breakout sessions, each designed to provide insights on leadership, community engagement, and professional development.
Participating in events like the Crossroads Summit allows Girl Scouts Dakota Horizons to connect with leaders who are shaping the future of our region, while also sharing the values of curiosity, leadership, and community that are central to the Girl Scout experience.
